Electric Capability

The Carrera Vengeance E comes equipped with a 317Wh battery with an average range of 20 - 25 miles* (40 max) and a small charge window of 6 hours.

The rear wheel houses a motor capable of delivering speeds of up to 15.5mph without compromising grip. The Suntour OLED display allows you to seamlessly switch between four different modes, eco, tour, sport and turbo depending on the level of assistance you need.

The Vengeance E offers the chance to truly get out there and go further than ever.

 
 

Range

All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
• Tyre pressure.
• Wind speed and direction.

Extra Comfort and Grip!

With the Carrera MTB grips nestled on either end of some 720mm wide MTB specfic  bars hand comfort has been taken care of here on the Carrera Vengeance-E.

As well as the Carrera Grips, we have included a Carrera MTB Comfort saddle to help ease those long ascents and combined it with the quick release aluminium seat post so it can be quickly adjusted to get the postion right for every ride.

Alongside these comfort upgrades the Carrera Vengeance-E comes equipped with the Kenda K1027, an entry level do it all MTB tyre. It features a simple tread pattern for grip on mild trails and reduced drag when rolling on the road to help keep you moving swiftly.

Carrera bikes have built a reputation on using market leading brands and this is a trend we don't intend on stopping.

The Carrera Vengeance E is kitted out with reliable SRAM 8 speed gears and a single chainring on the front allowing for hassle free shifting. We know that with all that added power you'll want consistent braking so we have outfitted the Vengeance E with Tektro mechanical disc brakes with 180mm rotors, meaning stopping is a breeze.

Finally a Suntour XCT fork with 100mm of travel irons out the inevitable bumps in the road ensuring comfort all the way.

Safety First

Choosing an electric bike can be a daunting prospect and the safety around electric bike batteries is often at the forefront of peoples minds. At Halfords we have a rigorous process to ensure these batteries are as safe as can be.

We inspect production facilities to ensure they meet the necessary safety standards, we also ask our manufacturers to run third party tests to guarantee an impartial opinion.

There are a number of UK and European laws regarding the standards that electric bikes must meet. Our batteries comply with international standards EN62133 which specify the requirements of the safe operation of lithium batteries and UN38.3 which certifies the safety of our batteries during transportation.
