Electric Capability

The Shimano electric system represents a harmonious balance between power, efficiency and integration.

The latest-generation engine is placed in the bike's bottom bracket, providing steady and noiseless support while pedaling.

Karga is available with Shimano EP6 or Shimano EP801 setups, both 85Nm, whose output power can be adjusted to suit the terrain and the specific needs of the rider. The integrated 720Wh battery, housed in the down tube of the frame, provides exceptional range, enabling long rides.

Essential information that can be consulted while pedaling such as: speed, distance cycled and battery charge level are easily monitored via the new LCD display that can be read even in bright sunlight. Data control panels are customizable.

Frame & Fork

It-s neither an enduro nor a trail bike. Thanks to its 160 mm travel, the Karga aims to meet the needs of most cycling enthusiasts who want to keep fit while having fun.

The carbon fibre front frame triangle is fitted with a double-thickness aluminium rear frame triangle which accommodates the 29-- wheels. Easy to pedal uphill, just the right level of agile downhill.

Finishing Kit

The Karga inherits the same rubber protectors which protect the bearings from the seeping of mud and dirt from our Urta Hybrid.

The Token branded third series won the prestigious Taipei Cycle Show Awards 2021 for its lower bearing-mounted system that allows the steering rotation to be customised. A solution that protects the frame from sudden rotation of the handlebar in the event of a fall.

Range

All electric bikes specify a maximum mileage range achievable on a single battery charge. This represents the furthest distance under optimal conditions; however, several factors can influence this range:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.

• The assistance mode selected.

• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).

• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).

• Tyre pressure.

• Wind speed and direction.
