Extra comfort

Customers told us that features such as saddle comfort were a crucial element of their riding experience. Recognising this we've therefore equipped all Carrera bikes with memory foam saddles as standard - helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides. These saddles are specific to the discipline and their shape is designed to complement that style of riding.

Often overlooked but an important contact point, is the handlebar grips that have been ergonomically designed with soft rubber, for additional comfort.

To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we're also giving you more peace of mind by fitting 'Carrera Puncture Protection' tyres as standard which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures.

Adjustable Suspension

The Carrera Crossfire 1 is also comfortable to ride on varying surfaces thanks to the Suntour front suspension forks. With 63mm of travel, they do a great job of absorbing bumps and obstacles giving you more control and confidence. The suspension can also be dampened to help maintain faster speeds on smooth surfaces

Lightweight, easy-handling frame

Weighing in at 15kg, the Carrera Crossfire 1's lightweight aluminium frame does a great job of keeping the bike's overall weight down, helping you to cycle further for longer. Most people find the upright sitting position and the flat handlebars very helpful for maintaining great visibility of the road ahead. Coming in 3 sizes makes it easier to find the right bike for you.
