Introduction

The Voodoo Loco, is a true British, steel, hardcore hardtail. Built with MX (mixed) wheelset with a 29" front wheel and smaller 27.5" rear wheel, this bike offers the perfect balance between agility and stability. The smaller rear wheel keeps the chainstays short, delivering a playful ride and snappy acceleration while the larger front wheel keeps the front end stable, allowing it to roll smoothly.

The frame is made from chromoly steel, known for its strength, resilience, and ability to take the sting out of rough terrain and harsh drops while allowing a bit of flex to aid traction. Whether it's conquering climbs, darting down descents or if you're just going loco down in Acapulco, the Voodoo Loco is designed to push limits, inspire confidence and deliver an exhilarating ride.

Frame & Fork

The 4130 Chromoly frame is designed with aggressive trail geometry, enabling the Loco to conquer terrain that would typically seem impossible for a hardtail. A 63.5- head angle keeps you in control when riding the steepest of trails and the natural vibration dampening properties of chromoly adds some compliance while rolling along rocky and rooty singletrack. In the rear, the bike has huge tyre clearance to keep you going when things get mucky!

Up front the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork provides 140mm of travel and is air adjustable for you and your riding style. Legendary Marzocchi reliability, performance and killer looks, what more could you want.

Groupset

The Deore 12-speed setup offers a marked weight reduction compared to lower-spec groupsets. The additional 10-tooth cog improves the potential top speed and reduces the steps between gears, allowing for more refined gear selection.

The rear derailleur operates silently while efficiently shifting through the 10-51-tooth Deore cassette, ensuring stability and smooth power transfer in the drivetrain, particularly when navigating challenging off-road terrain.

Wheels & Tyres

30mm wide tubeless compatible rims are strong, light and wide enough to stop tyre roll when pushing it hard into turns.

Fitted with Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO tubeless-ready tyre at the front and Maxxis Dissector EXO tubeless-ready tyre at the rear delivery excellent performance in a variety of conditions. Soft compound rubber to keep you gripping on rock and hardpacked trails and enough tread height to hook up when things get soft and slippy.

Finishing Kit

Up front, a strong, reliable 6061 alloy bar and short 45mm alloy stem, with Voodoo lock-on grips, help ensure the bike goes in the direction you point it.?

The WTB Volt saddle with gel inserts offers a perfect balance of comfort and durability. Its medium width provide support and flexibility, ideal for varied terrain. The gel inserts effectively reduce pressure points, enhancing comfort during long, rough rides.?

Holding up the WTB saddle is a internally routed dropper seatpost with 170mm of travel.
