BlackOut Bedroom® technology

One of Coleman's® most popular tents now includes BlackOut Bedroom® technology as well as additional UV protection. The Coleman Octagon Blackout Tent retains all the features of the original eight sided tent, including full 360° views, together with ample living space and ingenious rigid hinged door, now also boasts being able to block up to 99% of daylight as well as climate control making it 5°C cooler during the day and 1°C warmer at night, ensuring a better sleep whatever time of the day.

Additional UV protection is provided by Coleman® UVGuard™ with a rating of SPF50 providing excellent protection against the sun’s ultraviolet rays. This distinctive tent also has a multitude of uses, from luxury glamping bedroom to expansive festival tent or with the flysheet removed it can be used as a bug-proof screened room.

The Self supportive tent design and colour coded steel poles make it easy to pitch in less than 15 minutes. Full head height and rigid hinged door makes entering and leaving the tent a pleasure

The blackOut bedroom® blocks out 99% of daylight from entering the bedroom as well as keeping it 5°C cooler during the day and 1°C warmer at night. 360° mesh windows allow excellent ventilation and prevent the smallest of insects from entering the tent.

Fully taped flysheet and sewn in groundsheet will prevent leaks and keep gear dry and bug free. The Flysheet can be removed and the structure used as a mesh gazebo, perfect for keeping the bugs out at a Summer barbecue.
