This Aksium Disc model includes special features aimed at the unique demands of disc brake road bikes. It uses straight-pull spokes for added stiffness and strength, and we also increased the spoke count to 24 on both front and rear wheels.

With a 17mm internal width, these rims are compatible with tyres up to 32mm, making them versatile, comfortable and ideal for challenging road conditions. The disc-specific hubs feature super strong QRM bearings that provide low friction and long-term durability.

Key Technology:

• Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology: The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

• QRM Auto bearing preload technology: The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.

• Front wheel is configured for forks with 12x100mm thru axle spacing but can be converted to Quick Release with the included adaptors. Rear wheel is configured for frames with 12x142mm thru axle rear spacing but can be converted to Quick Release with the included adaptors.
