For those who still prefer the lightweight simplicity of rim brakes, the Crossride UB is a smart choice for off-road versatility. The rim is built specifically for rim brakes and features our H2 reinforcement at the spoke holes for added strength and durability. And at just 920g for the rear wheel, it’s a lightweight option for better handling and easier climbing. The Crossride UB is only available for rim brakes and is compatible with frames and forks using standard quick releases.

Key Technology:

  • FTS-X freewheel technology – Force Transfer System X. A further improved FTS free wheel system to meet the demand of intensive MTB riding as closely as possible to make the freewheel mechanism even more hard wearing.
  • QRM Auto bearing preload technology – The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.
