Slime Presta Bike Inner Tube - 26" - 29" is rated out of 5 by 19.Rated 5 out of 5 by Martin743 from No more punctures hopefully! I hope this will stop having so many punctures, I have only just fitted them, so to soon to tell. I fitted them to my bike, but my bike tyres are 2.25 wide and the tubes are only 2.125, but such a small difference.125 of an inch about 3mm max, seams to be OK,Date published: 2017-11-21Rated 1 out of 5 by JulienGC from Slime Punctured within a week of purchase, would like a replacement please.Date published: 2017-11-17Rated 4 out of 5 by tartangaz from not perfect They won't stop flats but when you get puncture they'll seal after a few inflates if its just a thorn, I bought 3 tubes less than one year ago with only one surviving, first one was a rim check and recently got punctured by a wire cut off which stuck right into the tyre, took half an hour of inflating/deflating before it sealed and has since deflated a few times so much so I've decided to go back to normal tubes as in the long run its cheaper, less hassle and not so messy on the trail.....if I could I'd go tubeless.Date published: 2017-09-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Justinorange66 from Slime tubes do as they say simple Excellent product. No punctures that let tyres down in 2 weeks of riding the camal path after they cut the thorn hedges. The day before i had 4 punctures in 1 day. I still have to remove the thorns from the tyres once a week but i dont have to repair on the tow path.Date published: 2017-01-31Rated 4 out of 5 by XC90Crusader from If Hulk made tubes Heavier than a std tube but no real point in carrying a spare so evens out the extra grams. Tough and reliable. If your not running a tubeless set up get these. SimpleDate published: 2016-11-02Rated 5 out of 5 by RickyGVR46 from Heavier Than Standard I bought these inner tubes from Halfords via click and collect on the web, I needed to replace my original inner tube as it had split on one of the seams, I made the decision to buy the slime ones instead of the standard ones in the hope that if I am unfortunate enough to get a puncture whilst out riding the slime will save me the walk home, I understand what people say about the slime making the inner tube heavier and adding to the weight of the bike but lets face it if I was that worried about weight I'd leave my bottle of water at home and not wear any shoes or fill my tyres with helium... I don't think the extra weight matters because I'm not planning on entering the tour de France so I'll leave you to choose for yourself if it matters to you. Oh and plus I got three for two deal as well so I have a spare one!Date published: 2016-09-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommy1234567890 from Really good I brought this when I got a puncture and this over tube is greatDate published: 2016-03-05Rated 1 out of 5 by Nacnud996 from Am i missing something? I recently fitted front and rear slime inner tubes for my daily commute and have found them to be slight less useful than a chocolate fire guard. Each of the four or five punctures I've experienced while using these inners has been less than 3mm across and each has flattened the tyre. The only difference from a standard inner is that there is perhaps 5psi pressure left over with the slime inner - still flat as a pancake though - oh, and you are left with green slime over the outside of the tube which has to be cleaned off before it can be repaired. A complete waste of money. I'd take them back if I could find the receipt.Date published: 2015-11-24
