Continental Argotal Tyre

• Supported in-line shoulder studs with supportive structure for high stability even when cornering aggressively. Benefit: high mechanical grip especially in loose mud.

• Open tread pattern design for perfect interaction on loose surfaces. Benefit: good self-cleaning in moist and wet conditions.

• The pronounced studs are equipped with steep ramps to generate mechanical grip through a pattern-soil interaction. Benefit: expectational grip in on loose and mixed surface.

**Casing Options -

Downhill Casing:**

The most durable and reinforced casing in our Gravity range of tyres. Using two 110 tpi (threads per inch) polyamide casing layers (ply), wrapped around an aramid bead to give a 4ply, 440 tpi sidewall and 6ply, 660 tpi under the tread, negating the need for any tyre liners and still giving maximum protection.

• For Downhill, Freeride, Super Enduro and Heavy Enduro.

• Recommended for 170-200mm travel on conventional and e-Bikes.

• Improved elongated Apex insert above the bead for support and snakebite protection.

• Tubeless Ready

• Cross-Woven chafer textile protects the rim / rim intersection.

• 4ply sidewall, 6ply under the tread.

Enduro Casing:

Durable single ply carcass construction, consisting of a 110 threads per inch (tpi) casing fabric, wrapped around an aramid bead for an overall sidewall build of 2ply / 220tpi, and tread build of 3ply / 330tpi. In addition, a floating cross-woven ProTection (PT) fabric from bead to shoulder saves weight over a full-on double ply casing build yet provides much of the same defence qualities on a lighter casing build.

• For Enduro and Heavy Trail bikes.

• Recommended for 150-170mm travel on conventional and e-Bikes.

• Improved elongated Apex insert above the bead for support and snakebite protection.

In addition, a floating cross-woven ProTection (PT) fabric from bead to shoulder saves weight over a full-on double ply casing build yet provides much of the same defence qualities on a lighter casing build.

• Recommended for 140-160mm travel on conventional and e-Bikes.

• Extra cross-woven ProTection fabric prevents cuts and slashes.

**Compound Options-

Supersoft Compound:**

Grippiest choice from our new BlackChili Gravity compound range. Tyres equipped with this compound are for riders with a 100% focus on grip, traction and control. The softest choice for downhill and enduro riders requiring the stickiest tyre for that ultra-important target race where fast descending makes up most of the course.

Soft Compound:

Our new BlackChili soft compound option from our new Gravity range of MTB tyres. The balance between rolling and grip. High levels of grip with a reasonable rolling resistance. This compound option offers DH riders the choice of a slightly harder, longer lasting compound for the rear wheel, or for both wheels on enduro and trail bikes to gain greater value for money from their race tyre set.

Endurance Compound:

The new BlackChili compound for our Gravity range of MTB tyres focussing on a balance between grip and longevity (endurance). With the endurance compound, a high durability in combination with low rolling resistance and grip is achieved. A good compound choice for trail riding or as an endurance focussed compound for e-Bikes.
