Voodoo Marasa Mens Hybrid Bike - 18", 20" Frames is rated out of 5 by 10.Rated 5 out of 5 by Melly40 from Voodoo Marasa 2014 This is a review of the 2014 model as I don't believe in writing a review until something has had some realtime use. The model I have comes with Tektro Hydraulic brakes and Shimano Acera gear set. I bought my bike new and have covered a few thousand miles on it. I've changed the handlebars, saddle and pedals but this is down to personal preference as the existing parts were absolutely fine. I also changed the tyres to Marathon Plus but again personal preference. This bike has been brilliant, the gear changes are so smooth and the shifters take minimal effort to change gear. The frame is light with plenty of fixings for racks etc. The drivetrain is very hardwearing as I have not had to swap out anything in regards to that yet. This bike is equal to in my opinion, the Specialized Sirrus which at the time was over £200 more than the Voodoo with basically the same parts and spec. I got my Voodoo in the sale as well so it's worth waiting around for a discount. Also I bought mine in the box so I could put it together myself. This is an excellent hybrid bike which requires minimal maintenance. Even the hydraulic brakes have needed no attention save for new pads. The only moan I have and this also applies to my 6 year old Carrera Vengeance, is the spokes of the wheels tend to rust.Date published: 2018-09-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Caneru from Great bike overall Got this bike to travel to work so im doing 10 miles everyday on it to and back from work and overall its a great looking bike, lovely gears and brakes. Only down side is the seat is awful and very uncomforable. I need to buy a new more soft seat because its worst than sitting on a rockDate published: 2018-07-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Eloo from Excellent Nothing but good things to say about this bike. The hydraulic brakes are excellent for the price, I like the ergonomic grips, they help with numb hands. Good riding position. The local (steep) mountain climb is easier on this bike than on a lightweight carbon bike, obviously due to easier gears but still impressive as it has extra weight. 2 bottle cages which I like. I’ve done 30 miles on this bike with no issues at all. Have also taken it through some rough forest trails. Been over quite a few rough bits and haven’t treated the bike very carefully and it handles everything I’ve done. If something happened to this bike I’d buy another one for sure. And was only £320 on bank holiday sales.Date published: 2018-05-16Rated 5 out of 5 by chrisofthewhites from Great Commuter Bike A really nice bike to cycle. Cycled a 4 mile short trip to work each way the day after I got it, then after work went for a 28mile cycle along the deeside way, which has some paved paths, some dirt tracks, some gravel and it seemed to be the perfect bike for the job. Can confirm the towpeak disc break pannier fits as I installed that yesterday. Don't know a lot of technical stuff about bikes to give more info but a nice bike to cycle, relatively light, can deal with the bumps and potholes in the road on the way to work. Everything running smoothly.Date published: 2018-05-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Speckie267 from Voodoo Marisa Hydred Bike Great bike for the commuter. Reasonably priced this bike rides brilliantly on the road steady and firm but algile enough to skirt around potholes and other traffic hazards. Really pleased with my purchase it has given me a little invigoration to get out on my bike more at the weekendDate published: 2018-04-19Rated 5 out of 5 by petemanpete from fast light commuting/hybrid bike this bike is light, strong and does it what is says on the tin! gear range is excellent, the bike is fast and is equipped well out of the box. a few minor accessories and it would make an excellent touring bike. only critic is that factory built wheels need a tune up from a human beingDate published: 2018-04-13Rated 5 out of 5 by lookmybike from love it good bike i did a week on it did 876 mlies on it in a week now nx week going to the top off the uk on it from liverpool all the way to the top off ukDate published: 2018-04-03Rated 5 out of 5 by SallySue from Good looking and high quality bike. This bike is an excellent bike for the price. Very good riding position. Top quality brakes and 27speed gears. Its a good looker too. It runs very smooth and very quick. I haven't ridden for years and I absolutely think this bike is a no brainer for me. Tried other bikes but very glad I got this one as its so comfortable for me 20inch frame. I am one very happy customer.Date published: 2018-03-17
