Voodoo Bizango 29er Mens Mountain Bike - 16", 18", 20", 22" Frames is rated out of 5 by 18.Rated 5 out of 5 by BigBirdMan from Quality Great Bike. Use it almost daily up the local woods and it is top quality. light wight and easy to fly about on, nice to ride. simple gears mean less to use or think about. overall great bike and would strongly recommend. the only thing id have to say is some times you feel there could be one lower/hight gear.Date published: 2018-07-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Supprised Brilliant bike for the money. Over the last 2 weeks iv been out every day, down quite rough trails, and yesterday done a 36mile ride. Takes everything in its stride. Quite supprised how well it gets down hill considering its a hardtail. Can't recommend it enough for such little moneyDate published: 2018-07-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Smogmonster9 from Fab bike What a fantastic bike for that sort of money, nothing comes close to it, best bike on MDR website for under £750 !!! Plus great service from the lads at coulby newhaw branch!!!!Date published: 2018-06-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Flanners from Superb value and performance Rejoining the fold after a 11 year hiatus of road bikes but was a mountain biker for 17yrs before that. Currently sitting in my camper on the South Downs after a 35km first ride. Wow! How things have moved on. New frame angles make the bike responsive easy to control and bomb's up and down hills. The fork provides good accurate tracking and lovely plush damping; the lockout is great for climbs/tarmac sections. The cockpit is long and wide, bars enable good control but width can be restrictive, depending on terrain. The 1x drive train just works no thinking no chain suck minimal noise easy accurate shifts...only bad point is topping out quickly on downhill/flat/roads as 32-11 (miss 42-11) restricts speed. Climbs really well and geared to get up anything. 29" wheels are a revelation they just roll over the trail ruts and holes are just shrugged off; faster and more comfortable than 26"'s. How can this much fun and performance be circa £500? Usually I buy a bike then mod/upgrade it...perhaps I may get better grips and a dropper post but thars it...it is really that good.Perhaps it's Joe Murray's secret formula...the legendary name is on thr frame! Simply a stunning bike.Date published: 2018-06-29Rated 5 out of 5 by AlanOike from Awesome OK, first off, I'm 176cm (5'9.75" important, that .75) and I got the 16" after taking advice from the nice man in Halfords, because there were none in stock. It's great. Looks huge with those 29" wheels, feels huge when you stand beside it, once you're on it, it feels like a BMX. Great fun, very chuckable, climbs well, and mostly looks after you, unless you're very stupid (like I was today, but fine, just grazes. I recommend getting a full face helmet. All I'm saying.) Point it at a steep descent, let go and all of a sudden you're at the bottom. In one piece. It's very... reassuring. Gears are great, love the 1x11. Brakes are good. Not quite "1 finger" but plenty of stop. I managed to dump it proper today and everythings still straight!!! Get one. Silly money for a great bike. Caveat: This is my first proper mountain bike, always been a roadie.Date published: 2018-06-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Bizangobuyer from Really eye catching bike Great looking bike. I bought it to replace my beloved Carerra valour which had been stolen. My son had a carerra kracken which was markedly better to ride than the valour so I took this opportunity to upgrade. After a lot of reading up, I went into store to buy a carerra fury but the very helpful bike dept manager James in Kidderminster showed me the Bizango which was 30% off. Quite the bargain for hydraulic disc brakes & air forks. Firstly, it’s very light by my standards. I like the wide bars & 29” wheels. The brakes are fab and the 11 gears are all you need whilst being smooth & easy to navigate. I still do a fair bit of road riding and the down side is the Bizango feels like harder work on tarmac than my old Valour, I’m guessing because of the rugged tyres. This is a more serious mountain bike. All in all, a great mountain bike but if you are on the roads a lot I’d give that aspect some thought when choosing. I may well start saving for a road bike to go with my Bizango.....Date published: 2018-05-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Peddlingfarmer from Good competition for major brands ! The bike is a really good all round bike ! The gearing allows rapid acceleration on the flat and quick accents in the hills . Only niggles I’ve had is the paint is very..... soft . It only has to smell a fly strike and it seems to chip off , and I’ve only had it two weeks and ridden it three times :( Also the brakes weren’t bedded in and have glazed on the first ride .Date published: 2018-05-25Rated 5 out of 5 by roger23 from Great value Very happy with my purchase. Unlike the picture my bike has come in orange colour and appears to have a version of an X1 32T chain-ring. But it does have the Raidon 34mm suspension forks with 130mm of travel as quoted. I am six foot and went for the 20 inch frame which fits me perfectly and the bike is very comfy to ride. This is my first bike with 29inch wheels and 1x group and all works fine - the range of gears seems very good and the big wheels are unstoppable. I had the bike delivered and it was fairly straightforward to put together although I will need a shock pump to set the fork pressure now. Brakes are non-series Shimano but stop the bike well on steep slopes.Date published: 2018-05-14
