<span itemprop="description">I needed to refurb my Astra's (H) headlights as the lacquer was starting to peel off and there were some scratches too. I read a lot of reviews regarding Autoglym and I went ahead to purchase it. It was a bonus that Halfords had it at reduced price.
Upon starting to use the first sanding pad, What a disappointment that was. It just clogged up very quickly and I only used it on slow speed. This one struggled to remove the top coat in order to bring the whole surface on "one level". After some perseverance and persuasion (including some hand sanding with some wet and dry sandpapers I had lying around) I then, started working up through the grades. The last 3000 sanding discs were ok and the polishing compound and finishing pad were good.
But, this kit might be good only for the faint faded lights and not for the more severe affected ones. And definitely, this is not a good value for money.
Don't be fooled by this (and the reviews), just get a professional in to do the job. This is just rubbish.
A couple of weeks later, I can still see the scratches, and the reflection of them. Not yet yellowed (due to lack of lacquer) but time will tell, and it is only a matter of time.
Maybe Autoglym should include
_ More sanding discs
_ Lower graded paper too
All in all, I am not impressed.
Will I use it again? Definitely not.
Do you want to have a go? By all means go for it, but be prepared to spend 1h per headlight including the frustration of the sanding sheets being clogged up and not enough of them.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this kit for my yellowed lights on my is200 ,I’ve never attempted this before nor I read the instructions as I watched a few videos on YouTube and there is a video by autoglym that shows you how to do it , all in all achieved superb results and headlight is crystal clear , you have to be handy with the drill</span>
