Karcher Pressure Washer Suction Hose is rated out of 5 by 18.Rated 5 out of 5 by Kesscats from Water butt hose. Very pleased with this hose. I used it in a bucket of water and it works just as well as being attached to a tap. Half the price than other retailers.Date published: 2018-05-02Rated 5 out of 5 by mow11 from karcher pressure washer suction hose very impressed with the suction hose it was easy to fit and worked first time i set it up. thanks .Date published: 2018-03-06Rated 4 out of 5 by labor475 from - Works well once primed Once you get the hang of priming the hose it works fine. I followed the advice in a previous review and I thread the hose into a lenth of drain pipe inside the water butt to prevent it from curling up and the end rising above the water level. I found the Karcher supplied fitting to hold the hose in place not good enough and a length of drain pipe is much better. I have also straightened the hose out by pinning both ends down and leaving the hose out for several days and this mostly gets the curls out (I mostly use water butts so I don't need it tightly curled up as for a bucket). Priming works best I find as follows: push the end that will attach to the washer down into the water butt making sure you can see the water level rise in the pipe. If it isn't it is probably because the yellow non-return valve at the other end needs depressing to let the air out. Feed the pipe all the way into the water butt. Underwater thread the (non-return valve) end into your drainpipe. Now take the other end and attach it to the washer. The non-return valve should keep the pipe primed. Now turn the washer on, depress the trigger and allow it to build up pressure.Date published: 2018-02-19Rated 1 out of 5 by Andy86 from Didnt work Did not work. Had to return it and get the outside tap unblocked off. Tested my Karcher at a friends with a hose and outside tap to check it was not a faulty washer.Date published: 2018-01-22Rated 5 out of 5 by ProblemSolver from It really DOES work! I was not convinced but was desperate! Needing to power wash a huge expanse of block paving for a disabled friend who isn't on mains water in the middle of nowhere. The pump from the well just didn't get enough pressure to the outside tap for the pressure washer K3500 to work properly. I got a large bucket for the garden hose to fill up and put the suction hose in that. It was mobile then which was a bonus. You do need to stand with the trigger on and 'prime' it, allowing all the air out and you can uncoil it to an extent but I found the coils actually helped keep it submerged in the bucket. I did get the hang of not letting the bucket get too empty then needing to prime it again as obviously the water is coming out faster than going in if in constant use. I would recommend this to anyone with water pressure/source issues.Date published: 2017-09-28Rated 3 out of 5 by Andy35xx from Well made hose for karcher Although this is a good product, and well made. I ran this to a 210L water butt and it was drained in minutes using a k4. It wont last long enough to clean a patio etc, and running from a flexi tub is pointless.Date published: 2017-08-29Rated 5 out of 5 by pork_shuer from Takes time to upload initially! Initially I thought it would prime automatically after turning my K7 on, engaged the lance trigger for about a minute and BAM! (needs to be explained in/on the boxes contents) - pressure, we're off. shows just how much your machine is using in terms of water flow. Stuck in a water butt I have to feed the pipe through a drainpipe to keep it uncoiled, hope after time it'll straighten out.Date published: 2017-05-20Rated 4 out of 5 by Arikiri from I had initial problems priming the hose - I lubricated the O-ring seal and screw thread and hand tightened as much as possible - it then primed - during priming, you need to occasionally depress the gun trigger to ensure air passes through - Once working it does a great job.Date published: 2017-04-22
