STP Air-Con Reusable Trigger and Gauge - For Gas R134A

The STP Air-Con Reusable Trigger and Gauge is designed to measure the pressure and refrigerant level in your A/C.

Features & Benefits:
  • Extra-long professional length hose
  • Accurately charges and measures A/C refrigerant
  • Easy to use for DIY users
  • Reusable and can be used as an A/C check gauge, without attaching to container
  • Calibrated and colour coded gauge for easy use
  • Coupler attaches to low-side ports in R-134a systems as it will not connect to the high side port or other gas systems in error
Instructions for use:
  • STEP 1: FIND THE PORT
  • Do not start the engine. Always connect and disconnect with engine off
  • Locate the A/C low side service port
  • Wearing googles and gloves, unscrew the dust cap and attach the STP® Reusable Trigger & Gauge by pressing down the coupler on the low side port. The coupler will only fit on the low-side port – do not force
  • If reading is zero, this indicates there may be an abnormal leak in the system. Do not attempt to add refrigerant. Seek professional advice from a mechanic
    STEP 2: MEASURE
  • Start the engine
  • Set A/C to maximum cooling and activate recirculation mode
  • Check that the A/C compressor is running, listen and watch the clutch engaging. Allow for the engine to run 2 minutes
  • Without pressing the trigger, check the gauge reading and compare to the chart below. If the PSI reading is in the white sector (5-25psi), charge the A/C system accordingly
