Based on the previous generation's flagship model, the MTX 8.8 is a leisure hybrid that is as equally at home on and off the road. The MTX 8.8 is one bike you can rely on for any adventure.

The Boardman MTX 8.8 has a lightweight aluminium frame for easier handling and the geometry is tailored towards an upright riding position that maximises comfort and ensures you always have a good view of the route ahead. The 8.8 is fitted with a Suntour NCX D air fork for a comfortable and efficient ride wherever you choose to go. Shifting gears is made easy on the MTX 8.8 with its Shimano Deore drivetrain giving a smooth, efficient gear change across a wide range of ratios.

Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes will bring you to a controlled stop in all conditions and Schwalbe Tyrago K-Guard 35mm tyres offer comfort and control on both road and loose surfaces, with the added benefit of puncture protection.

The MTX 8.8 is built on triple-butted aluminium frame which has been designed to be comfortable over distance and a variety of terrains. The Suntour NCX air fork provides increased adjustability and less weight over coil spring models helping you tailor the bike to the riding conditions with ease. With 30mm stanchions the NCX is durable and has a plush yet sturdy feel.
