Extra comfort

Customers told us that features such as saddle comfort were a crucial aspect of their riding experience. Recognising this we've equipped the Parva with memory foam saddles helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides. Often overlooked but an important contact point when you're riding, the Parva is equipped with soft rubber, ergonomically designed handlebar grips for additional comfort.

To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we're also giving you more peace of mind by fitting 'Carrera Puncture Protection' tyres as standard which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures.

Efficient modern gears

To enhance the riding experience, we have also upgraded the drivetrain on the new Parva, moving from a triple chainset to a 2x (2 by). One less cog at the front means less weight and less maintenance but also makes changing gears more intuitive as fewer choices help you get the one you want quicker.

And, don't worry about the range of gears. The Parva now comes with a bigger 7-speed cassette at the back wheel so you've still got those important choices at the top and bottom end of the range. Sometimes, less is definitely more!

Lightweight, easy-handling frame

Weighing in at just 13.5kg, the Carrera Parva's lightweight aluminium frame does a great job of keeping the bike's overall weight down, helping you to cycle further for longer. We've made the bike slightly higher at the front end, giving a more upright and comfortable riding position. Most people find this position and the flat handlebars a great combination for maintaining great visibility of the road ahead.
