High Mileage Users
The 50 point Interim Service is designed for the high mileage car user (regularly exceeding 2000 miles a month), or vehicles which require frequent checks. Our ATA-trained technicians will test all of the main moving parts that may need attention over a short period of time.
We recommend booking in for an Interim Service every six months to prevent any unforeseen faults with your car.

All parts fitted at Halfords Autocentres and National Tyres Autocentres are guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years or 24,000 miles* (whichever is sooner). Some parts such as batteries include a longer warranty as stated on the product.
If a part we have fitted should fail, it can be replaced or repaired at any of our 600 autocentres. This guarantee only covers parts and labour, excludes any additional costs incurred due to a warranty failure.

When considering an interim vs full service, it’s easiest to recall when your vehicle last received a service. An interim service is designed for every 6 months or 6,000 miles, while a full service can be left twice as long and is typically completed annually (or every 12,000 miles).
Both service options cover the essential checks, including tyres, battery, suspension, steering and more, as well as an engine oil and filter change. However, a full service also includes an air filter replacement to help keep your engine clean and functioning efficiently.
