The Carrera Impel im-2 features a fully integrated 367 Wh battery allowing for an average range of 20 - 25 miles* (max 50 miles) on a single charge. The rear hub motor is powered by a built in torque sensor ensuring you get assistance from the very first stroke of the pedal.

USB charging through the LCD display allows you to use the bike's battery to keep other devices charged such as your smartphone. Whether commuting or cruising around town, the robust and lightweight aluminium frame provides a comfortable and smooth ride. Then, when it comes to stopping, the mechanical disc brakes are dependable in all conditions.

Helping the bike excel on multiple surfaces, the impel im-2 also benefits from wide tyres with safety reflective walls and double-walled rims for added puncture protection - so there's less chance of your ride being cut short by a pesky puncture!

Range

All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.

• The assistance mode selected.

• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).

• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).

• Tyre pressure.

• Wind speed and direction.

Powerful battery and motor

When riding your e-bike, you want a strong motor and dependable battery to help assist you through your ride - and the Carrera impel im-2 won't let you down!

With a capacity of 367Wh and an assisted range of up to 50 miles, the Carrera's battery will power you throughout your ride and it's also fully integrated into the frame for a sleek look and better weight distribution.* Then, at the simple turn of a key, you can remove the battery and charge it away from the bike between rides.

Providing the assistance is the Hyena 250W motor which is seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel for improved traction and controlled handling. This performance motor also boasts an impressive 45NM of torque.

Backing up the battery is an equally impressive Hyena rear hub motor. Seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel, it provides improved traction and controlled handling. Combined with the 9-speed cassette, you'll always have the gears and assistance you need.

And to top it all off, the motor's torque sensor will seamlessly adjust the power output in response to your input, providing a natural ride feel.

LCD display

Controlling the level of assistance and tracking your ride couldn't be easier through the LCD display.

Allowing you to choose between 3 assist modes and a walk mode, you'll always receive the level of assistance you need.

The display also provides key information like speed and battery level and, when connected to the Hyena Rider Assistant app via Bluetooth, you can unlock additional features on the smartphone app, such as ride metrics, management of power modes and details for any error codes.

Connecting to the bike via Bluetooth, the app allows you to see your ride's statistics including average speed, maximum speed, distance, trip time plus much more.

Multi-functional, the app also displays the battery's charge and health status, and even allows you to turn the bike's integrated lights on and off.
