Directions to McConechy's Forfar
Forfar is best reached via the A90, which bypasses the town to the west. From the south, take Dundee Road or the A94 Glamis Road towards the town centre.
If approaching from the north, take the turn-off for the B9128 or A926, which will bring you into town and right past McConechy's Forfar Autocentre.
You'll find us just off the roundabout near the historic Reid Hall, an imposing stone building erected in 1869.

First, take the very short walk around the corner to Reid Hall, as the architecture is well worth a look and right on our doorstep.
North-west of McConechy's Forfar Autocentre, there's Guthrie Park with playing fields and wooded areas to explore on foot.
Just beyond it, Forfar Loch Country Park offers plenty of footpaths leading to the water's edge. You can walk round Forfar Loch, with the circular route covering about 2.5 miles.
Public transport
Catch any of the local bus services to The Cross in the middle of Forfar. Routes include the 27, which comes from Kingsmuir to the south.
If you're arriving by train, head to Dundee Station, then take the 20/21 bus from Dundee. This is a direct service north along the A90 to Forfar.
