Directions to McConechy's Haddington
From Edinburgh, just follow the A1 east to Haddington. Exit on to the B6471 (signposted Haddington) and follow it into the town.
You can also arrive via the A1 from Dunbar in the east. Take Abbotsview Junction left into Haddington.
We're centrally located just south of Station Road. Look for our blue and yellow sign opposite Knox Academy on Rosehall.
What's nearby?
The National Museum of Flight is just to the north-east of Haddington. It's next to East Fortune Race Circuit, so you can visit both in even a short space of time.
Closer to McConechy's Tyres, the River Tyne flows just south of Haddington, Behind Knox Academy you can visit Haddington Athletic FC and nearby Haddington Rugby FC at Neilson Park.
Down by the river, the Oriental Garden is unique small attraction, a serene Eastern-inspired setting with ferns and rockeries.
Public transport
Rosehall is served by local bus routes including the 110 and 123. Alight at Knox Court if heading south, or at Rosehall Place if coming north.
Haddington has no railway station, but ScotRail run a service from Edinburgh to nearby Drem in under half an hour. From there, it's less than 5 miles into Haddington by taxi.
