<span itemprop="description">I bought this head unit to replace a unit that had gone faulty. Decided to get a unit with DAB and was a little disappointed it needed a DAB aerial. This is specific to Halfords as the model comes with an aerial apart from those sold by them. They charge the full retail price as Kenwood recommend £25 on the Internet these are around £10. It may be Halfords are aware and realise customers can save a little perhaps I am being generous! None the less it was really easy to change units as my old unit had the same connectors and the FM radio woks a treat.</span>

<span itemprop="description">A well built system and with a lot of useful features...however there could have been much room for simple Improvement.
Firstly I will give my Positives on this system: Great sounding audio and can be tailored to your speakers and listening requirements, good Bluetooth connection and a nice clear display with most colours to match the rest of your dashboard colour co-ordination. Good solid DAB reception (Using a Halfords magmount DAB roof aerial...brought separately) Also this unit auto-scans everytime you use DAB so you are up to date with the latest DAB services.
Secondly the negatives: FM reception is very mediocre so don't expect solid FM 'Stereo' reception as most FM stations on this unit automatically switch to MONO. Very poor FM reception compared to the Sony models which give good solid 'stereo' reception in weak areas. The pre-set buttons are very fiddly as they are way too small and difficult to navigate around. You need to learn how to navigate from FM to DAB - it can be painstaking. Overall if you simply want this system for DAB and Bluetooth only then I recommend this unit...but FM reception let's this unit down very badly. Slightly over priced for what it is.</span>
