Robust and powerful, the Allroad S wheels are equipped with flat, lightweight spokes and ID360 freewheel technology, which guarantees long-lasting performance. Automatic bearing preload (QRM Auto) eliminates the need for adjustment and ensures long-term durability, so you can enjoy the road without worrying about maintenance. UST Road Tubeless technology allows you to drop tyre pressure to increase comfort and control, while reducing friction to enhance efficiency and grip. It also provides protection against flats.

Fore drilling makes the rim completely airtight without the need for a rim tape, saving 30g per wheel—the weight of an extra bar in your back pocket. You'll appreciate that 30g less per revolution.

Fore technology helps with that power transmission and stability by keeping the rim's upper bridge undrilled, increasing rigidity. Key Technology:

• Maxtal aluminium alloy: Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.

• ISM light rim technology: Inter Spoke Milling is an exclusive Mavic patented concept. The ISM involves the machining of the lower bridge of the rim between each spoke hole to create a light and rigid rim without reducing the durability of the rim.

• Fore tapeless tubeless technology: Stiffer and stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.

• Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology: The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

• UST tubeless technology: Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.

• SUP welding technology: Stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.

• Infinity hub design: Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.

• QRM Auto bearing preload technology: The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 interna; clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.
