<span itemprop="description">I got this as part of a kit and after first application found it left very noticeable white residue across my wheels. I thought I'd just applied too much, so after a throrough clean reapplied a little more sparingly. Result - same white marks. So I looked online and it appears to be a common theme. I then looked at Autoglym's website and in the FAQ it says:
Q: What type of wheels is Wheel Protector suitable for?
A: Wheel Protector is suitable to use on Split Rims, Diamond Cut, Refurbished, Multispoke, Anodised and unlacquered wheels. Wheel Protector is not suitable for any wheels that are Black, dark in colour or have a mirrored finish.
So if your car has dark/black wheels, don't bother.</span>
