Halfords Classic Oil 20W50 5L is rated out of 5 by 74.Rated 5 out of 5 by Mgbjim from Proper oil for proper car !! Mgb gt 1975 changed oil with this halfords classic 20 50 Brilliant oil pressure now well sortedDate published: 2017-09-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Jay48 from Classic! I have a 1973 Buick Riviera and this oil is just right for it. Modern synthetic oils could damage the engines of 1960s, 70's and 80's vehicles. I purchased two 5 litre cans of Halfords Classic Motor Oil while they were on special offer and took advantage of the free postage. they came quickly and well packed.Date published: 2017-07-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Mick5300 from Classic motor oil Does what it says on the tin just like Duckhams used to be my XJ12 seams happy on itDate published: 2017-06-17Rated 3 out of 5 by TheGrocer from Fast but damaged The items I ordered were delivered extremely quickly but BOTH cans were badly dented as if they had been dropped on their base from a height...Base corners totally buckled and base of carton coming adriftDate published: 2017-04-18Rated 4 out of 5 by Ham659 from Every year Yearly oil change no matter how few miles she has done , the 1936 Austin Seven Ruby has an oil change !Date published: 2017-04-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Davy52 from Halfords Classic Oil 20W50 I have been using this oil in my two classic cars for years and any cars that I purchase for resale. When I buy a car for resale before putting it up for sale the engine gets an engine flush and filled with Halfords Classic Oil the only Oil that I would trust in a historic engine. The cars that I specialise in are Citroen Traction Avants from the years 1934 to 1955 as these cars are dated before the insertion of oil filters it's very important to use a high quality oil that's suits engines of this type. I sincerely hope that Halfords keep producing this oil in the future at the current reasonable price.Date published: 2017-03-17Rated 4 out of 5 by JWLondon from Mini MPI 2000 I've been using this oil in my MPI Mini for several years with no issues. Due to having less time available, I tried to order this oil and have it delivered for collection to a nearby Cycle Republic. This was clearly offered as an option on the Halfords website. However, I later received an email stating that they can't send it because it's hazardous and it was suggested I go to Halfords to purchase the oil. Why they would give this as an option and then reject the order is beyond me. I ended up going to a famous online retailer and ordering a different brand of 20W50 5L tin of classic oil. It was quickly delivered to my nearest package collection branch to collect at my convenience. So, I will likely switch to this oil, as it's more convenient for me to obtain. Halfords can be very inconvenient for me to get to in London. I'm rating the value poor, it's more due to the value I'm placing on my time trying to get hold of the product, the reasons I've just outlined and my dissatisfaction with the online ordering system.Date published: 2017-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Ben1992 from Great oil Really good in my air-cooled VW beetle, love the metal tin - but its quite hard to pour because of the shape of the tin / lid. Great quality product.Date published: 2017-01-31
