Halfords High Build Primer 500ml

The Halfords High Build Primer (500ml) is made for applications where a thicker primer is needed. It can be used on a wide variety of surfaces, and has a fan nozzle for a more professional finish.

The primer good filling properties, which means you don't need to do as much sanding to get a fine finish. It's suitable for use on steel, aluminium, fibreglass, and most well-prepared wood, stone, and plastic surfaces (with the use of a plastic adhesion promoting primer first). It can also be used over body fillers and existing paint and bodywork.

This high-build primer is compatible with all Halfords lacquers, gloss and metallic paints, and is temperature-resistant up to 110 °C once fully hardened.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Store can at room temperature before use

• For detailed instructions see back of can

• Sand, clean, and degrease the area you're painting beforehand

• Optimum ambient temperature is between +10 - +25

• Shake for 3 minutes

• Spray a test area before you start

• Apply in several layers, holding the can 25-30cm away from the panel

• Once you're done, spray the can upside down for 5 seconds to clean the nozzle

Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: May burst if heated. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Keep out of reach of children. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Buildup of explosive mixtures possible without sufficient ventilation. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not breathe spray. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Wash contaminated body parts thoroughly after handling. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Call a doctor if you feel unwell. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with regional regulations. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Warning! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist.
