Frame & Fork

The heart of the ADV 8.9 Carbon is its 990-gram C10 carbon frame and 420-gram carbon fork. Its neutral 71.5-degree head angle delivers predictable handling on and off the road.

The frame also boasts hidden mounts for full-length mudguards, dropper post routing, bottle and storage fixings on the top tube, seat tube, and downtube.

Groupset

The Boardman ADV 9.0 is fitted with Shimano's dedicated gravel-specific GRX series groupset. A GRX 12-speed drivetrain that benefits from adventure-specific ergonomics and optimised gearing.

The double 30/46 tooth chainset and 12-speed, 11-34 tooth cassette improves the shifting experience from that of its 10-speed sibling, allowing you to dial in the perfect gear selection whatever surface or situation you find yourself in.

Wheels & Tyres

The ADV 9.0 features the Goodyear Connector tyre with its Ultimate Tubeless Complete- technology. This version of the Connector features the same versatile tread pattern as the standard tyre but with the additional benefit of an internal multi-compound material layer, allowing for improved air retention and additional puncture and cut protection.

Reliable and robust adventure-specific Boardman ADV wheels feature 12mm through axle hubs laced with Sapim Race spokes onto tubeless-ready alloy rims with a 22mm internal width.

Finishing Kit

Flared alloy handlebars allow for an optimal ergonomic hand position on the hoods, more control whilst in the drops and facilitates more frontal space to carry additional luggage.

Prologo's Akero AGX saddle has been developed specifically for the rigours of gravel and adventure riding. Its T-shaped profile and supportive padding support the sit bones, while its central channel helps to reduce numbness by relieving pressure on sensitive tissues.
