Introduction

The Boardman TRVL range is designed for expeditions that demand more than everyday adventures. Tested on some of the UK's most punishing gravel tracks and trails, the TRVL range features 40mm of front suspension, generous tyre clearance, rack, mudguard, and bag mounts. Go further, tackle more, and explore routes less travelled.

Frame & Fork

The TRVL might seem like a 90s MTB with drop handlebars, but it's much more than that if you take a closer look. The 9.2s 6061 butted alloy frame features a myriad of mounting points for those fully-ladened expeditions where leaving something behind is not an option. Additionally, the dropper post routing and clearance for up to 50mm tyres allow you to customise it to tackle trails that those 90s MTBs would avoid.

Groupset

The Boardman TRVL 9.2 benefits from SRAM's game-changing wireless XPLR Apex groupset. With a single chainring up front and an intuitive gear selection system at your fingertips, you can focus on the road, path, track, trail, climb or descent in front of you rather than worrying about what gear you are in.

SRAM's 11-44 tooth 12 cassette delivers 2x range in a 1x package! It features PowerGlide II technology that is more reliable, more durable and performs better thanks to it's tooth profile and shift ramp design.

Wheels & Tyres

The Boardman TRVL 9.2 alloy wheelset is tubeless ready. To experience the added grip, comfort, and versatility of a tubeless set-up, you only need add sealant, and valves!

Goodyear's 45mm gravel-specific Connector is the TRVL 9.2's tyre of choice. Designed as a fast-rolling all-terrain tyre, its versatile tread pattern with tightly-spaced centre knobs and aggressive side knobs delivers straight-line momentum whilst retaining grip demands when the direction changes or the route gets technical. They also have tan walls for a 90's vibe!

Finishing Kit

Gravel specific bars wrapped in a 3.5mm thick, high tack bar tape reduce virations, increase grip and make time on the hoods more comfortable. A 6-degree flare ensures you have better control over the bike when in the drops, whilst offering more space up front for additional luggage.
