The 8.9 is fitted with Shimano's dedicated gravel-specific GRX series groupset. A GRX 11-speed drivetrain that benefits from adventure-specific ergonomics and optimised gearing.

The 1x11 setup with 11-42 tooth cassette at the rear offer ample gear choices, allowing you to maintain power and speed on the flat while keeping cadence high on climbs.

The frame also has mounts for mudguards and a rack, so you can easily add a pannier for extra storage.

Wheels & Tyres

The ADV-E 8.9 comes equipped with Goodyear 40mm gravel-specific Connector tyres, universally recognised for their exceptional performance and durability.

The Connector has a versatile tread pattern featuring tightly spaced centre knobs combined with aggressive side knobs. This combination offers the perfect balance of grip and speed, especially in loose conditions, making it the ideal choice for adventure and gravel riding.
