With a tensile strength of over 1300kg/f, the Clarks Half Link Chain has been designed around the requirements of single speed usage. The benefit of consistent tension and better sprocket contact than a ‘standard’ chain, half link chains provide the single speed user with a smoother ride and offer superior strength.

Half link chains allow a more precise adjustment of chain length. The chain can be reduced in length by half a link at a time as opposed to a full link which means rear wheel placement can be fine-tuned with a much greater degree of accuracy. The improved adjustability allows the rear wheel to be manoeuvred into a position to suit the rider’s preference or riding style. This will be important to any rider particular about their bike setup or for racers looking to optimise the feel of the bike to suit course conditions, perfect for BMX, Track or Fixed gear Bikes.
