Shimano Shadow RD
The RD-U2000 is built with Shimano's Shadow RD technology - a super low-profile design with a single tension construction which carries many benefits. This includes better protection from impact damage because the main body of the derailleur sits further inboard; it also prevents the derailleur from hitting the chainstay on rough terrain. The result is smoother, uninterrupted and silent shifting performance.
Compatibility
The Essa RD-U2000 8 speed rear derailleur is designed for single ring drivetrains and is only compatible with the Shimano CS-HG400 11-45T 8-speed cassette.
