SRAM Red GXP Crankset, 175mm / 50-34T Yaw GXP

The SRAM Red GXP Crankset, 175mm / 50-34T Yaw GXP is now available with refreshed graphics to compliment the new SRAM RED eTap componentry. The SRAM RED Exogram crankset features a completely hollow construction all the way to the spider. Its hidden bolt pattern makes better use of carbon fiber to further improve stiffness and shed weight. Exogram technology uses a large, hollow cross section all the way to the spider, minimizing weight while maximizing stiffness.

Technologies

X-GlideR Chainrings

The chainrings are designed to work with the Yaw front derailleur to provide optimal shifting efficiency. Upshift rivets with an advanced style borrowed from SRAM XX are featured on the stiffer rings (5mm 7075-T6 aluminium CNC-machined). Precision control of each tooth shape, ramp, and nearly every shifting function of the chainring is possible thanks to CNC machining. Chainrings, chain, and front derailleur are designed as a single integrated system for optimized performance.

 

Yaw

The front derailleur cage rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain. Shifter trim is no longer necessary thanks to yaw technology. Shifts feel more linear and precise as a result, and when paired with the new Red crankset and chainrings, have an unmatched performance advantage in front shifting.
