Dimension was the first short saddle from Prologo that the market saw born. Its compact size and innovative V-shape design have made it one of the most appreciated and used saddles by many champions; a true icon both on and off road.

Designing a new version of an already cutting-edge saddle is always a challenge, and in the case of Dimension, an even more ambitious challenge. But at Prologo we are used to challenges and the constant search for maximum performance, careful ergonomic and design studies, combined with the continuous search for new materials, have allowed us not only to further innovate an already iconic saddle, but to create the most performing, comfortable and lightest Dimension ever: the Dimension R2.

A new multi-disciplinary and unisex saddle, with compact dimensions of 245x143mm and a weight of only 135 grams, a 15% reduction compared to the previous model. Designed for professionals and the most demanding amateurs, always looking for the highest performing and most comfortable components, perfect for road and off-road use.

The Dimension R2 features a completely redesigned front end. The nose is 40mm wide, 30% wider than the previous model, and has a more rounded side profile.

Furthermore, the central part has been redesigned and features a flat surface, to favour an even more advanced and aerodynamic riding position. Innovative design choices studied to further increase the comfort of the saddle, especially when pushing hard on the pedals.

Materials research played a central role in the evolution of the Dimension R2, with the introduction of a new EVA foam that allowed us to reduce the thickness of the padding in the back by 20%, while maintaining the support and comfort that have always distinguished the Dimension family.

The materials chosen for the base and the rail are up to the standards of a model that is placed in the high range of Prologo saddles. The base is made of injected Long Fiber Carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort, while the rail is available only in the lightest and highest performing version in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fibre, Kevlar and aluminium filaments.

*Please note that carbon railed saddles have taller oval rails compared to standard rails and will sometimes require a dedicated seat clamp depending on the seat post clamping design and brand of the seat post.

• If the seat post has a vertical (top and bottom clamp), the clamp will fit carbon rails.

• Side-to-side clamping seat posts require an adapter to accommodate the longer 7x9.1mm Nack carbon rails. Most brands sell interchangeable clamps to fit carbon rails. It's always worth checking with the seat post manufacturer to confirm compatibility.
