Rotor Steel bottom bracket with appealing looks and ease of use. The Rotor T4724 BB is incredibly light and will match up with all high end cranks with looks and performance.

The Rotor T4724 bottom bracket is CNC machined from 7000 series aluminium for a precise fit and perfect engagement with the threaded BB shell. The 7075 alloy provides a strong, solid platform which is extremely resistant to fatigue, the CNC machining ensures accurate bearing alignment, prolonging the life span of the bearings and reducing friction for smooth pedalling.

The T4724 External bottom bracket is compatible with T47 frames that have a shell width of 68mm (Road) or 73mm (MTB). External is a reference to the bearings sitting outboard of the frame. If you have a frame with a T47 68mm or 73mm shell and a crankset with a 24mm spindle, this is the bottom bracket you will need. Suitable for chainsets that use a 24mm spindle, this includes Shimano Hollowtech II chainsets (Dura Ace, Ultegra, 105, Tiagra, Sora), all Rotor chainsets that use a 24mm spindle (Vegast 24 and Aldhu 24) as well as some FSA chainsets.

The T47 bottom bracket standard was born in 2015, introduced as a solution to solve many of the problems associated with press fit systems. T47 is a development of the BSA threaded system, it's essentially a larger version designed to improve compatibility with the different crankset options available in the market. T47 shares the same thread design as BSA, with the right (driveside cup) using a left-hand thread and the left (non-driveside cup) using a regular right-hand thread. T47 cups are larger in size, the cup's threading diameter is 47mm with a pitch 1mm pitch.

The Rotor T4724 External Bottom Bracket has the same tool fitting as the standard Shimano bottom bracket tool.
