Rotor has bolstered its Universal Bottom Bracket (UBB) line up with a new UBB4360 design that uses a threaded sleeve to improve on PF30, BB386 and BBright standards by increasing durability and ease of installation.

Rather than relying on the pressfit shell for alignment, the UBB4630's threaded sleeve locks both cups in place, increasing BB shell stiffness. This also ensures a smooth, uniform spin free from the creaks that often plague pressfit bearings while preventing bearing overload. The perfect alignment also means longer bearing life while the sleeve also prevents cable guides rubbing against rotating parts.

The UBB PF30 bottom bracket is designed to fit frames that use the PF30 bottom bracket standard. The bottom bracket shell will measure 68mm wide with a inside diameter of 46mm. Suitable for chainsets with a 30mm spindle diameter including all Rotor 3D and REX 30mm, Kapic, Kapic Carbon, Aldhu 30, Vegast 30, INpower, 2INpower.

The Rotor UBB bottom bracket has a 12 notch tool fitting and can be installed with the Rotor UBB+ BSA30 Bottom Bracket Tool (Halfords article: 278979) or the Park Tool BBT-47-12 bottom bracket tool (Halfords article: 235883).
