Halfords Graffitti Remover 400ml

Suitable for removing spray paints, oil paints, alkyd resin-based paints, emulsion paints, glue residue, varnishes and various other coatings down to the original substrate.

CAUTION: This product will remove ALL paint layers. Do not use this product if you are wanting to remove graffiti from a surface when you wish to keep the underlying paint uneffected as the paint remover will strip this paint aswell.

Instructions:

Refer to the icons for quick instructions, working temperature, drying times etc.

For best results ensure the can is at room temperature before use.

Avoid spraying in direct sunshine, cold, damp, humid or windy weather.

Recommended ambient temperature whilst using +10° to + 25°C.

Ensure you read the complete instructions and familiarise yourself with each step.

Ensure you have all consumables needed to hand before starting the process.

Insturctions for use:

Shake the aerosol and test the compatibility of the surface.

Apply paint remover generously and allow to take effect. The time to take effect depends on the quality and age of the lacquer to be removed.

Once activiated, the old paint will begin to wrinkle away from the surface. Remove the paint with a tool appropriate for this purpose such as a metal/ plastic scraper, wire brush etc. where required repeat the treatment.

Contaminated paint remover should be regarded as chemical waste.

CAUTIONS

Take care when preparing older paint surfaces (Pre 1970) as these may contain harmful Lead.

Ensure ventilation is adequate in the area you are painting in to prevent harmful build-up of solvent gasses.
