MotorEasy

Protect yourself from unexpected repair bills by taking out a MotorEasy car warranty plan. These flexible plans provide comprehensive cover against mechanical and electric failures, including damage to parts caused by wear and tear.

If you need to make a claim, then the process is quick and easy. Simply contact MotorEasy and your claim will be authorised the same day. The company will then handle any repairs on your behalf, liaising directly with your chosen Halfords garage, and arranging for your car to be collected/returned to your home or workplace. MotorEasy will also pay the Halfords garage directly, so you’ll never be left out of pocket.

Quality guarantee

All parts fitted at Halfords garages are guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever comes sooner), protecting the investments that you make in your car. Some parts such as batteries include a longer warranty and the exact length will be stated on the product.

Our quality guarantee means that if a part that we fitted should fail, we’ll replace or repair it at any of our garages. It’s important to be aware that this guarantee only covers parts and labour, and therefore excludes any additional costs incurred due to a warranty failure.

The exception to this is tyres, which are covered by our lifetime mileage guarantee for any manufacturing defects throughout the legal life of the tyre. If a tyre that we’ve fitted has an issue, then we’ll inspect it at one of our garages and the tyre will be sent back to the manufacturer for testing if we’re unable to identify the problem. Tyres below the legal tread limit of 1.6mm won’t be covered under the guarantee.

Halfords Breakdown Cover

There’s nothing worse than getting stranded with a flat tyre or smoking engine. Our Halfords Breakdown Cover will help you to plan for the unexpected and get you back on the road again.

There are five levels of cover available for your car, van and motorbike, while all policy holders also receive a range of benefits including 10% off servicing and repairs, 10% off wiper blades, bulbs and batteries (including fitting), and half-price MOTs.

We’re also the only UK breakdown service to operate its own garages and we can repair 80% of vehicles at the roadside.
