The Halfords Universal Rear Kickstand is an excellent choice for cyclists who frequently stop at shops, relax outside cafes, or want to store their bike upright in a garage or shed.

With a strong aluminium construction, this bike stand fits bikes with 700c and 24”–29” wheels, making it suitable for a range of bike types, including mountain, road, gravel, and hybrid. The Halfords kickstand can be easily adjusted without the need for tools.

Designed for stability, the sturdy boot and durable build support bikes up to 25kg. Installation is quick and simple thanks to the secure 3-bolt clamp design, mounting onto the rear chainstay using just a 5mm Allen key. When not in use, the bicycle stand folds neatly out of the way.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Attach the kickstand loosely to the left side of the bike (away from the chain). Make sure the plastic shims are in place, and nothing (pedals, cables, spokes, brakes, tyre) is in the way.

Step 2: Position it about 5 cm from the end of the chainstay, keeping clear of the disc brake.

Step 3: Tighten the 3 bolts evenly with a 5 mm Allen key.

Step 4: Keep tightening evenly until the stand doesn’t move, but don’t go over 10 Nm.

Step 5: Fold the stand down and adjust its length using the button near the foot.
