The SIP QT AIR DD 4.5hp 150ltr Ultra Low Noise Oil-Free Direct Drive Compressor is a powerful and innovative ultra low noise compressor which features slow-running 4-pole motor pump units for up to 50% longer working life compared to standard SIP 2-pole motor air compressors.

Built to support demanding applications requiring higher air volume in automotive settings and large workshops, this oil-free direct drive compressor delivers 22.8CFM piston displacement, resulting in 18.2CFM Free Air Delivery (FAD) from a single-phase supply. Operating at an ultra low 67dB, it's perfect for work areas where noise level is a consideration.

A wheel-mounted design with swivel front castors and U-handle allows for full movement in a variety of work area settings for added flexibility. The supplied U-handle also includes a bracket for mounting a separate SIP Air Hose Reel for added versatility.

Applications & uses: Designed for automotive settings and large workshops. Ideal for spraying applications, pneumatic car lifts, tyre changers and plasma cutters. Suitable for sanding and grinding applications.

Large Six-Cylinder Motor Pump Unit with Slow-Running 4-Pole Motors Achieve Ultra Low Noise Levels & Support Higher Air Volume Applications & Oil-Free For Low Maintenance Use: Ideal for spraying applications, pneumatic car lifts and tyre changers. Suitable for sanding and grinding applications and perfect for use with spot welders and plasma cutters. Slow-running 4-pole motors operate at lower speeds for longer life performance (4.5hp/3.3kW) compared to standard SIP 2-pole motor air compressors. Delivers high 22.8CFM piston displacement resulting in 18.2CFM Free Air Delivery (FAD) from a single-phase supply. Large motor fans improve cooling to maintain pump temperature and output performance. A mains supply control box with input voltage display initiates individual motor pump unit start-up at 3sec intervals. This eliminates inrush current, alleviating any start-up motor stress and premature motor wear and tear. Also features an electronic auto bleed system for resistance-free start-up. This releases residual delivery pipe pressure before every filling cycle, which ensures each motor reaches its full operating speed without any additional mechanical stress. Fitted with 3mtr mains cable for greater work area flexibility and a 230v/16A plug. Operates at an ultra low 67dB for lower noise levels compared to older SIP compressor technology. Ideal for work areas where noise level is a consideration. Oil-free operation for low maintenance use and reduced operating costs. This prevents oil carry-through to air tools and equipment, maximising longevity.
