What's the difference between the SL-M6200 and SL-M6210?
The SL-M6210 has been developed specifically for E-MTB use. Unlike the standard SL-M6200, which allows multiple downshifts, the SL-M6210 shifts one gear per lever stroke to help reduce drivetrain loads under the higher torque generated by e-bike motors.

What's the difference between I-SPEC EV and Clamp Band?
I-SPEC EV versions mount directly to compatible Shimano brake levers, while Clamp Band versions mount independently to the handlebar.

Is the SL-M6210 backwards compatible?
Yes. The SL-M6210 is compatible with Shimano 12-speed mechanical MTB drivetrains and can replace previous Shimano 12-speed mechanical shifters where single-shift operation is preferred.
