The Shimano Deore XT SL-M8230 has been developed specifically for Shimano's 11-speed LINKGLIDE drivetrain, delivering smooth, consistent shifting with outstanding durability for mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes.

Its redesigned ergonomic lever provides a shorter stroke and more natural lever position, while Instant Release, 2-Way Release and two-gear Multi Shift deliver fast, controlled gear changes on technical terrain.

The SL-M8230 is also the direct replacement for the previous-generation SL-M8130 LINKGLIDE shifter.
