E-Bike Service

Here at Halfords, we want to keep you and your e-bike on the move, and that’s why we offer our E-bike Service. Perfect for regular riders or bikes that have been stored away, it’ll help bring your e-bike back to life!

Before completing any service, one of our trained mechanics will carry out our Free Bike Health Check* to assess the condition of your bike. During this 32-point assessment, we’ll check for any signs of wear or damage and ensure the bike is safe to ride. We’ll then recommend the best service for your needs and, if any repairs are required, we’ll advise you accordingly.**

Once we’ve completed this check, our E-bike Service will get your bike back into tip-top condition. As well as everything included in the Bronze Service, we’ll replace your bike’s brake and gear cables or bleed the brakes if it has a hydraulic system. On top of this, our trained mechanic will undo any electronic connections and clean and apply silicon grease around the sealing elements. They’ll then clean the crank sensor and test the battery. By the time they’ve finished, it’ll be like having a new e-bike!

** If we spot a problem that requires a repair that you would like us to fix, we can book your bike in at the first available opportunity so it can be repaired by one of our fully qualified mechanics.
