Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good fitting, the appointment system is awful The actual fitting is really good, I cant see any cables around the windscreen, works perfectly so very well done. However, actually getting the fitting booked in was awful. Before the actual fitting I have had it booked in 4 different times over the last few months only for it to be cancelled for various reasons. This was after I bought the dash cam and had it first planned to be fitted the following weekend. This final time, I had booked it in for the earliest available time on the Saturday which was 11am. I booked in person at the desk and thought that would be it. I then on the Friday got a voicemail stating my slot had already been booked and that my fitting would be at 2pm. Arrive at this time, or let them know if it wasn't and to reschedule. I arrived at 2pm only to be told they had actually booked me in for 1pm, an hour before. I had the voicemail saved so was able to clearly state that they had said 2pm. I got slightly annoyed saying that this isn't even the first time they have got it wrong and was one to leaving and not attempting a 5th try. The gentleman behind the desk, I think called Michael was really helpful, after he initially said it wouldn't be possible to get it fitted, after I explained the situation and what had happened previously he spoke to the manager for me and arranged to have it fitted there and then for 2pm, the time stated in the voicemail All in all, a bit annoyed and disappointed with getting it booked in, but the work was done to a high standard for a very reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Service I had a sinking feeling when I saw the warning light on my dashboard, telling me that one of my dipping headlights was out... these things are always such a hassle to try and change! But the staff at the Halfords store in Cambridge were great - first they directed me straight to the right bulb in the parts section and then the service staff member came straight out to the car park and fitted the bulb in minutes. Well worth the cost of installation to say my time and hassle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very fast and lovely service I had a break light out on my car, I rung up Halfords and they just said come in anytime and we’ll get someone to come to your car and fit a new bulb. And that is exactly what they did this really friendly guy helped me and talked me through the process it was fitted and working within three minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good service all round Bought a bike through cycle to work scheme from Halfords. When it came to selecting the bike they had a really good choice and they helpfully talked me through the options and prices. I ordered everything I need on line and they built the bike for me. Ready as expected and collection was simple. Love the bike.
