The 8.6 is equipped with a Hyena/Kynamic rear hub motor that provides 40Nm of torque, powered by a 367Wh battery which is seamlessly integrated into the aluminium frame. With four levels of power assistance that can be easily controlled via a user-friendly LCD screen, the system enables you to tackle longer rides and off-road trails with ease.

Better Equipped

Whether tackling a big adventure or the daily commute, you need a bike you can rely on. The MTX-E 8.6 features a reliable 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain with a single front chainring and a large 11-46 tooth cassette at the rear. This setup simplifies maintenance while providing a wide gear range suitable for any route you want to choose.

Braking comes courtesy of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, which provide smooth and consistent stopping power, mile after mile.

Comfort & Versatility

The MTX-E 8.6 features a Suntour suspension fork with 100mm of travel, a Boardman saddle with memory foam padding, and 50mm Goodyear Connector tyres to ensure maximum ride comfort. The tread pattern on the tyres ensures consistent grip on all surfaces while providing low rolling resistance, making them ideal for varying conditions and terrains.

Additionally, the frame is equipped with mounts for mudguards and a rack, allowing you to customise the bike to suit your needs.
