• The HTR-1B combines reaming and/or facing of the head tube to create a perfect fit for most sizes of headset cups.

• The HTR-1B comes complete with a 33.8mm reamer, and four different size pilots (29.8mm, 30.0mm, 33.8mm, and 36.8mm).

• The reamer is used to clean out or increase the diameter of the head tube.

• Most often facing of the head tube for a good cup fit is the objective and no reaming is required, in which case the pilots can be used in place of the reamers.

• The unique quick-release, quick-adjust feature allows you to slide the bottom portion on and off easily without the long threading process.

• This threading function of the tool can still be fine tuned whilst in use.

• The tapered centering cone unit rides on a bearing for extra smooth operation.

The HTR-1B is a complete professional tool set for reaming and facing both head tubes and press fit bottom bracket shells. The durable handle assembly features a quick-release, quick-adjust design allowing for easy tool installation, adjustment and removal. Optional accessories for the HTR-1B include over 20 different reamers and facers for most headset and bottom bracket standards.

SHIS terminology: The stock HTR-1B will face EC29, EC30, EC34 and EC37 frames. It will ream EC34 frames. Accessories will allow service in other standards.

Also available as a standalone handle set with no reamers, facers or pilots (HTR-HS).
