Specifically designed to meet the needs of road and light off-road terrain, the Angel™ XT Urban is the perfect choice for daily city adventure. With its knobbly tread pattern, inherited from the Pirelli MT60™ RS, this tyre provides agile road handling, comfort, grip and traction on dirt and gravel conditions. This is due to the different shape of the knobs: lower in the central part for better rolling on tarmac, higher on the lateral part to handle light off-road terrain. The motorcycle-derived profile provides superior grip when leaning. The Angel™ XT Urban meets the ECE-R75 and ECE-R88 certification requirements and is both suitable for traditional and electric bicycles.

Procompound Urban:

Silica compound mixed for the best urban application. Grip, low rolling resistance and high mileage performance.

HyperBELT:

The HyperBELT construction is the urban-specific solution that focuses on puncture protection: the 60tpi Nylon carcass protects the tyre against cuts while an added 5mm layer of rubber offers extra protection against external objects such as nails and thorns.

HyperBELT is a resistant and durable construction which handles the common obstacles of urban cycling.

The Angel™ Urban range meets the ECE-R75 certification, meaning that the tyres meet the European standards specific to the needs of speed e-bikes that go up to 50km/h (31mph).

The reflective stripe meets the approval requirements in the European ECE-R88 regulations that the reflective bands emit a sufficiently visible light even at an unfavourable angle.
