Simply remove the threaded cage assembly and mount bolt from your existing mechanical Eagle 90 or Eagle 70 derailleur, transfer them to your new GX Eagle Transmission derailleur body, and enjoy crisp, consistent, wireless shifts on every trail.

An included Eagle T-Type PowerLock offers total confidence when re-installing your chain, so you can hit the trail knowing your drivetrain is dialled.

Designed to make upgrading from mechanical Transmission to wireless Transmission as simple as possible, the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit includes an AXS-enabled derailleur body, AXS Pod Controller, Eagle T-Type PowerLock, AXS Battery, and AXS Battery Charger.

Please note - the threaded cage assembly, setup key, knurled ring, bushing, and derailleur mount bolt are not included and must be reused from the Eagle 90 or Eagle 70 derailleur that is being Upgraded.

Can the GX Eagle AXS Transmission derailleur body be purchased separately?

The GX Eagle AXS Transmission derailleur body is the primary component in the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit and cannot be purchased separately outside of that kit.

How do I use the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit?

The GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit is designed to make it easy to upgrade from mechanical to wireless. Simply remove the chain, threaded cage assembly, and mount bolt from your mechanical Eagle 90 or 70 derailleur and install the new GX Eagle AXS Transmission derailleur body. Once completed, use the included Eagle T-Type PowerLock when re-installing your chain, and refer to the Full Mount Chain Length and Setup Key Guide for installation guidelines.

Is the GX Eagle AXS Transmission rear derailleur compatible with other electronic rear derailleur components?

The GX Eagle AXS Transmission rear derailleur is compatible with all other Transmission cages and with GX, Eagle 90, and Eagle 70 Transmission mount bolt kits.
