Fore technology and Infinity hubs make life easier and improve longevity, allowing for quick replacement of broken spokes without the need to remove the tyre or rim tape—a precious time-saver during a race or whenever such an unpleasant mechanical may occur. Tubeless compatibility with no rim tape (Fore technology) and an enlarged groove make tyre changing ultra-simple and guarantee a perfect, long-lasting seal. This means you can adapt your equipment to suit the terrain or your mood almost on the fly.

The Deemax Enduro SL 29 will give you the confidence to tackle any terrain. The enlarged welded rim (30mm internal width) is designed to absorb the most violent impacts, giving your bike extra protection against the aggressive obstacles. It also accommodates DH tyres between 2.00" and 3.00", allowing riders to choose their favourite setup. Finally, the Black Shield double treatment protects the Deemax Enduro SL 29, making it twice as resistant to impacts from rocks and scratches. • Maxtal aluminium alloy – Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.
• ISM 4D light rim technology – Inter Spoke Milling 4 dimensions is an exclusive Mavic patented concept. The ISM 4D significantly reduces weight and inertia without compromising durability. Quicker accelerations, better handling and more resistance; the right mix to make the most of any ride. The smooth profile also helps reduce aerodynamic drag.
• Fore tapeless tubeless technology – Stiffer and stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.
• Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology – The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
• UST tubeless technology – Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
• SUP welding technology – Factory Welded Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
• Black Shield treatment – This treatment doubles the rim's lifespan against stone impacts and scratches. Super strong double coated treatment with a matt finish.
• Infinity hub design – Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.
• QRM Auto bearing preload technology – The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.

Compatibility:

• Available with either a SRAM XD or Shimano HG freehub body. SRAM XD driver body (freehub body) is compatible with SRAM XD Mountain Bike cassettes only. Shimano HG freehub body is compatible with Shimano 8-11 speed HG MTB cassettes and SRAM splined 8-11 speed cassettes. Freehub conversion kits can be purchased separately for Shimano Micro Spline cassettes.
