William Squire began making locks in 1780, before most people would even lock their doors or protect their belongings. His early products included a small range of mechanism padlocks, door locks and cabinet locks. In 1963, Squire launched their first range of cycle locks in the UK, This was incredibly innovative and ahead of its times.
