Can you put a pannier rack on a mountain bike​?

Yes, you can. Most mountain bikes can take a pannier rack, but you need to make sure there’s enough space around the back wheel and frame. Once it’s on, it’s really handy for carrying bags or gear on longer rides.

Can you ride with one pannier?

You can, but it’s best to balance the weight if possible. Riding with just one pannier might make the bike feel a bit lopsided, so keep heavier items low and centred to stay stable.
