  • Confidence inspiring levels of grip

Maxxis High Roller II Folding Tyre

  • An open and aggressive tread design gives the High Roller II excellent soil penetration and mud-clearing ability.

  • A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs.

  • Modified knobs on the shoulder and centre improve braking performance and traction on hard surfaces.

  • An excellent choice for technical, free ride terrain.

The Maxxis High Roller II features widely spaced knobs intended to find traction in loose conditions. A large channel between the center and side knobs provides a loose, drifty feel.

**Technology -

Tubeless:**

Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube.

Puncture Protection:

An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

Compounds:

Above all, Maxxis is known for the quality and performance of its rubber compounds. Rubber compounds are tailored to meet the needs of specific riding disciplines or conditions. Maxxis can produce tyres with one, two or three individual rubber compounds depending on the intended application. The High Roller II is available in a choice of compounds:

Dual Compound:

Two distinct rubber compounds are used within the tread to offer a balance between rolling resistance and grip.

Triple Compound (3C):

Maxxis' 3C tyres use a firm base rubber to reduce rolling resistance and progressively softer rubber on outer layers to optimize traction. Maxxis offer three different triple compound options: 3C MaxxSpeed, 3C MaxxTerra and 3C MaxxGrip. The High Roller II is available here with the 3C MaxxTerra which is an intermediate triple compound suitable for all-around trail riding.
